Julia celebrated Thanksgiving at her Camp Faith program. They sang a few songs and represented pilgrims and Indians. Julia and Maeve were pretty subdued during the singing and were not interested in making their boat piece rock. The little program was cute.

After the short performance the kids got to eat a special dinner with their parent. The table cloth was a fun coloring sheet that entertained while we got food arranged. Julia seemed to enjoy herself.

Julia and Maeve picked out their own clothes today and they both had blue and brown outfits. They must have talked on Sunday and coordinated. Ok, maybe that will be what happens in a few years.

We hope everyone’s Thanksgiving celebration was wonderful. We spent ours with extended family and great food!

We are very thankful this year for the blessings that God has given us. We are thankful for the things we have learned from our challenges this year. And mostly we are thankful that God is with us through both!

We will spend the Thanksgiving afternoon and evening with good food and family. Uncle Philip, Aunt Jen, Caleb, and Nathaniel are visiting for the holiday. We will eat at Grammy and Granddaddy’s house and have lots of fun playing together! Julia might just watch and take it all in, but most likely she will just nap for the evening.

(10 months) Emily has celebrated her first Thanksgiving! We spent the afternoon and evening playing at Grammy and Granddaddy’s house. She sat with the big people at the table and ate the big people’s sweet potatoes, white potatoes, dressing, and cherry jello. Then after her nap she joined the big people again at the table and enjoyed eating Mommy’s pumpkin pie with whipped cream topping. Yum! That is how you are to enjoy Thanksgiving – with family eating good food.
