Emily waves all the time now. She waves hello and goodbye, and also waves at people to get their attention.

(15 months) Emily loves to swing. If she could ask she would definitely ask to be pushed. She can’t swing as high as Natalie does. Maybe in a few years she will catch up with Natalie.

(15 months) Mommy, Daddy, and Emily took a vacation in late April to Florida. We spent a day with Aunt Jolie and the extended family. Then Emily traveled on to Miami with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy took a couple of days to visit the coast. For the last part of the trip Mommy and Daddy joined Emily in Miami for a couple days of play. Emily enjoyed her visit with her grandparents and didn’t miss Mommy and Daddy too much.

Chili Grins abound!

(15 months) Our church has an annual chili cook-off and barn dance at the barn of one of our church members. This year Emily and Mommy went to the event with Heather and Johnny. Emily enjoyed all of her yummy chili bites which it appears that she wore for the whole evening. She also got to accompany Mommy for half of the dancing until Mommy’s arm just gave out. Chili, barns, and dancing are fun!
