Emily is 6 months old and it’s time for another doctor appointment. At this visit she weighed in at 14 lbs 4 oz. and 25 1/2 inches. The doctor was pleased with her growth and gave her a clean bill of health. With this visit she didn’t have as many shots, so we didn’t hear as many cries. She bounced back from this set of shots by the next morning. I’m sure glad that we can get all of these shots out of the way while she can’t remember. We will go back for another check up at 9 months.

Mommy and Daddy took me on a hike around Cades Cove. I got to wear my pretty blue hat while we were out that day. Not only did I look cute, but the sun stayed out of my eyes. The hat brings out the my pretty blue eyes.

(5 months) This is our first Independence Day!

(5 months) Here is a classic – SuperBaby! Emily loves to be lifted up to become SuperBaby. Her legs extend out behind her and her arms sometimes extend out in front. Uncle Kenny enjoyed playing this game as much as her Daddy does. Even without the superpowers she is a SuperBaby!
